F2Pool Stops Signaling for SegWit2x as Bitcoin Price Surges Past $5,250

Bitcoin Mining pool F2Pool has stopped signalling for Segwit2x support today. F2Pool is one of the Worlds largest mining pools with around 10% of the overall Bitcoin mining hashrate.

You can see below the last block they mined which shows the Segwit2x support has now been dropped:

This sudden change of heart from F2Pool comes as Bitcoin has seen a huge rally taking it’s current value at time of writing to $5285, with over 10% gains in just 24 hours. Many believe novembers Hardfork may not happen as more and more prominent figures within the industry come forward to oppose the Segwit2x proposal.

Whatever happens in November though it should be an exciting month for cryptocurrency.
